Terms of Use

By accessing the website located at and any and all sub-domains of such website (the “Site”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. This Site is operated by the organizers of the GrowCanada Conference (“GrowCanada”, “we”, “us” or “our”, as appropriate), and is hosted by CropLife Canada Inc. You should visit this page from time to time to review the Terms of Use.


The content of the Site is provided for educational and general information purposes only. Users of the Site do so on a voluntary basis, consequently:

  • users of the Site are responsible for assessing the relevance and accuracy of the information available through the Site; and
  • everything on the Site is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

While reasonable care is taken in the preparation and presentation of the content, we do not guarantee or warrant the accuracy, reliability, completeness or currency of the information available on the Site or its usefulness in achieving any purpose.

We will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense incurred or arising by reason of any person using or relying on the information on the Site (including hyperlinks displayed in same).

We do not warrant or guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site, any website linked to this Site or to the availability of internet e-mail links provided on the Site. In no event shall we, our officers, affiliates, GrowCanada partners, agents, licensors, employees or internet service provider(s) be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost or damaged data or other commercial or economic loss, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence) or any other theory of liability.

Intellectual Property

Copyright in the Site and its content (including all text, graphics, layouts and images) is owned by us and all rights are reserved by us in that copyright. Copyright in some of the content of the Site may be owned by GrowCanada partners, and as such all rights are reserved by those GrowCanada partners in that copyright.

Registered and unregistered trademarks owned by us are displayed on and are also accessible through the Site. Registered and unregistered trademarks owned by GrowCanada partners may also be displayed on and accessible through the Site.

You must not use any GrowCanada copyright material or trademarks (collectively, the “IP”) except in the manner described below. You may:

  • use the IP for private, non-commercial purposes; and
  • print or otherwise save individual pages for private use. However, the IP may not be modified or altered in any respect, merged with other data or published in any form, in whole or in part. The prohibited uses include “screen scraping”, “database scraping” and any other activity intended to collect, store, reorganize or manipulate data on the pages produced by, or displayed on the Site.

You must visit each GrowCanada partner website to determine the terms and conditions of use for each  GrowCanada partner’s IP that you wish to use.

You may not publish any hyperlink to the Site or use any materials, names or marks in any way to give the erroneous impression that an individual, entity or website is somehow affiliated with GrowCanada.


You are granted a limited licence to use (display or print) the Site’s content, provided the Site’s content is not modified and a copy of these terms of use and disclaimer is attached to any copies that are made. You are further granted a limited license to use the e-mail and Internet links (the “Services”) provided on the Site. Any other use of the Site’s content or Services is prohibited. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. None of the Site’s content or Services may be otherwise reproduced, re-published, re-disseminated or otherwise provided in any manner or form without our prior written consent or the third party to which the IP rights belong (including GrowCanada partners). If you violate any of these Terms of Use, your permission to use the Site’s content and Services automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any copies you have made of the Site’s content.


Absent the use of encryption, the Internet is not a secured medium and privacy cannot be ensured. E-mail is vulnerable to interception. We are not responsible for any damages you may suffer as a result of the transmission of confidential information, including credit card information, that you make to any third party through the Internet or e-mail links provided on this Site. Termination of Access

We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, limit or suspend any user’s access to the Site without notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including the user’s breach of any of these Terms of Use.

No Waiver

Our failure or delay to enforce any of the terms and conditions under these Terms of Use shall not operate as a waiver of any of our rights or privileges under these Terms of Use.

We may, at any time, revise these Terms of Use by updating this posting. All users of the Site are bound by these Terms of Use and should therefore periodically visit this page to review any changes to these requirements.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. The courts in Ottawa, Ontario, have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide any disputes relating to these Terms of Use.
